After a extremely wet night previous, the band made the short travel to the village of Loughgall in returned support
of Derrylee Flute Band. The parade got under way shortly before 8pm, where Derrylee paraded the village, where they were
sounding well. Small crowds had lined the parade route through the village. This was the second or third parade of the
day for a lot of bands, but still, there was a good display of bands on parade.
We paraded with a smaller band than the night before, with that of 2 colour party, 1 drum major, 4 drums, 1 bass drummer
and 15 flutes. An overall total of 23 members. We didn't play too badly on the night, especially with the
passing of other bands along the parade route.
Both Kicluney Volunteers and Drumderg Loyalists were both playing well, with both parading with smaller numbers than usual.
Newry band South Down Defenders were sounding good also, parading a shortened route before they headed off to Lisburn where
another parade was taking place.
If you have any pictures or videos of our band at this parade, please get in contact.
